IMPRESSION
Upon entering Ms. Vân House, the first striking impression is the living room, where NTDecor chose an ivory white tone as the base, harmonized with deep wood brown and black – the classic Indochine palette.
The sofa set, upholstered in natural linen and featuring gracefully curved wooden frames, evokes a warm, vintage feeling. The marble coffee table with soft cloud-like veins, paired with handcrafted rattan stools, brings a soft and distinctly Eastern charm. A standout feature is the arched doorways, a signature Indochine architectural detail, which NTDecor cleverly integrated through decorative frames and partitions, creating a flowing spatial rhythm: semi open, semi private, suggestive yet subtle.
CONTEMPORARY BREATH
The dining area of Ms. Vân House features an Indochine style oak wood table and chairs, with a white granite tabletop veined like clouds and hand woven rattan backrests. A bamboo pendant lamp softly suspended above serves both as a visual centerpiece and a warm, rustic touch.
NOSTALGIC
A large bed with a rattan headboard and gently curved wooden frame becomes the room’s centerpiece. Built in black wooden wardrobes with vintage brass handles bring a retro vibe. On the walls, a hand painted lotus artwork, a pure Vietnamese symbol, is paired with textile-patterned wallpaper, adding depth and texture. The floor, lined with dark natural wood, emits warmth that can be felt even when walking barefoot.

The design of Ms. Vân House
In the fast-paced rhythm of modern life, each of us longs for a place called “home”, not just a destination to return to, but a space where the soul can find stillness, a place that touches the profound values of culture and personal emotion. For Ms. Vân, a house needs more than just beauty; it must have depth, it must tell a story. That’s why she chose to partner with NTDecor, to craft a living space deeply infused with the spirit of Indochine, a delicate fusion between the elegance of Eastern aesthetics and the classic charm of French colonial style.
- Where Art Becomes a Living Memory
Indochine is an interior style that harmoniously blends traditional Eastern culture with Western romanticism. From geometric patterns and stylized motifs to rustic materials like natural wood, bamboo, rattan, and encaustic tiles, everything feels like a journey back in time to the 1920s–1930s, when French influence permeated Vietnamese architecture and lifestyle.
With this project, NTDecor didn’t simply recreate Indochine in a rigid way but refined and innovated it to suit the needs of modern living, while preserving the traditional essence Ms. Vân cherished. Each space Ms. Vân House possesses a soul, a gentle symphony between memory and the present - The Beginning of a Story

The chandelier blends nostalgia and modernity: the design is reminiscent of old oil lamps, while the brass and crystal materials illuminate Ms. Van House with elegant, sophisticated artistry. - A Taste of the Past in a Contemporary Breath
The kitchen and dining area received special attention from Ms. Vân House, as this is where Ms. Vân spends cherished time cooking and gathering with family. The kitchen is enveloped in soft white, paired with black painted wooden cabinets detailed with vintage style brass handles, creating a nostalgic yet striking effect.

A lacquer painting depicting a countryside landscape hangs on the wall, the very soul of the space. NTDecor believes that meals should not only taste good but be “seasoned” with emotions and memories and thoughtful design is the catalyst for that experience. - A Dream Within Indochine Nuances
Ms. Vân’s bedroom is where NTDecor fully conveyed the spirit of Indochine. The signature palette of cream – wood – black continues here, but with softened tones to enhance relaxation.

Two-layered curtains in white and beige filter natural light, creating a dreamy atmosphere perfect for restful sleep. The floor, lined with dark natural wood, emits warmth that can be felt even when walking barefoot.
A compact dressing table with a round vintage mirror and classic lamp adds a poetic, delicate touch, much like the personality of the room’s owner. - The Thoughtful Details that Create a Harmonious Whole
What sets NTDecor apart is our meticulous attention to detail. Ms. Vân’s home isn’t only beautiful in its overall look, it shines through thoughtful, priceless elements:
- Patterned Encaustic Floor Tiles: Used selectively in the kitchen, balcony, and bathrooms. Though classic in motif, the tiles were carefully chosen to harmonize with the modern space.
- Wooden Louvers and CNC Partitions: These subtly divide areas without obstructing light or air. Featuring stylized leaves and arches, they echo the architecture of vintage Indochine villas.
- Natural Decorations with Bamboo, Rattan, and Brass: These materials are used tastefully throughout – in picture frames, pendant lights, door handles, and decorative plant pots. They soften the rigidity of modern architecture and invite nature into every corner of the home.
Ms. Vân House is a standout project for NTDecor in our exploration of the Indochine style, modern yet intimate. This living space is not just beautiful; it has soul, a vessel of memories, identity, and emotion.
Indochine never goes out of style, because it’s more than a trend – it’s a legacy. A cultural and spiritual heritage brought to life in every little detail. NTDecor is honored to help preserve and evolve this legacy in the most heartfelt and creative way.
